With it being the last week of school, I wanted to try to do as many fun activities as possible. My afternoon class was able to visit and play on the hill playground for their "Kindergarten Visit" day and seeing how much fun they had, I had to test it out with morning class! As you can see, we had a blast!!!!

(P.M. Class) Kindergarten Visit Day 5-9-11
We have been waiting and preparing all year to be Kindergartners and on this special day we got to visit and do everything just like a "real life" Kindergartner!
Walking up the stairs to the hill playground.....
Playing in the KINDERGARTEN playground!
Looking like Kindergartners as we walk through and explore the different pods.
Watching Coach Robert give directions to the "real" kindergartners
Taking a tour of the freezer with the lunch ladies.
This is the grill where the lunch ladies make our lunches
Listening to Ms. Oaks read a story in Media/Library
Singing and dancing with Mrs. H, our Kindergarten music teacher.

My Little Urchins!
Sea Urchins are not the most common ocean animal and trying to teach 3 and 4 year olds about these interesting creatures was a lot more fun than I had anticipated!

Soptted Stingray
Stingrays are very interesting creatures and we had an excellent time learning all about them, most especially the Blue Spotted Stingray! Next time we are at the beach we will all be sure to "shuffle our feet, so the rays can swim away".
