After learning all about firemen, we had a surprise visit from 3 real life firemen and a fire truck!

Miss Laura's Hospital, "Paging, Dr....."

We turned into little doctors with our homemade doctor kits, light reflectors and doctor masks!

A Visit from Officer Shallot! (PM class)

It was such a treat that Officer Shallot took time out of his busy schedule as a police officer to come by school and talk to the boys and girls about the important job he as an Auburn police Officer. He brought his police dog, police car and even had some cool stickers to hand out to everyone. We had a great time learning all about police officers!

Meet Miss Tara (AM Class)

Miss Tara Beauchamp is a practicum student from Auburn University. She will be working in our classroom Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings unitl December. She is such a sweet person and the kids love playing and interacting with her!

Welcome Back!

Wow, what a GREAT first week of school we had! I am so lucky to have such wonderful groups of children this year-- we had a blast getting to know each other and learn about the fun things we will get to do this year in the HAPIE pod.
