Octo-pops! (AM/PM)

Once fact we learned about the octopus is that they have 8 legs. To illustrate the fact, we used fruit punch and stuck 4 (as 8 would not fit in our little juice cups) gummy worms and a popcicle stick in the juice and let them freeze into Octo-pops! Luckily they were so delicious and we had so much fun making and eating them, that no one even noticed they were short 4 legs! :)

(PM class) Happy Birthday, Grace and Liza!

Grace and Liza turned 5 years old last week. To celebrate, Miss Susan's class joined our class to make, decorate and eat cupcakes. We had a blast!

(AM class) Welcome Our New Friend, JD!

We had a new friend start our class last week, his name is JD and we were so happy to meet him! Everyone did a great job showing him around the classroom, teaching him how we sit at circle and there was lots of playing at Center time and outside on the playground!

Turning the Classroom into an Ocean

The students have been working so hard to make all the animals to complete our ocean. Last week we worked together in groups to make the large ocean animals--this is how great they turned out!

(PM class) Nature Trail and Edible Oceans

The Trail where we went "camping" was recently remodeled. With it being such a beautiful day, we decided to take a walk and explore the new nature trail!

After hiking through the nature trail we worked up a big appetite which came just in time for us to make our edible oceans (blue icing and Goldfish).

(AM class) Happy Birthday, Libby!

Our sweet friend Libby turned 4 years old this week and to celebrate we made and enjoyed some delicious cupcakes!
